Cinema

Tickets for films are available at the cinema box office which opens 45 minutes before each film
As the Electric Palace seats 400 it is not necessary to buy tickets in advance.

Evening pre-film dinner is now available as well as lunches before matinees.  To reserve a table please call 01308 428354. Children's meal deals are available with the children's film screenings.

On Wednesday 8th September, we will be screening the eagerly awaited second part of the captivating story of Coco Chanel, COCO CHANEL & IGOR STRAVINSKY (15) , which examines the Chanel creator's passionate relationship with the legendary composer Stravinsky.

Pre-film dinner for £10 offers a rich and warm slow cooked beef cassoulet or hearty mixed bean cassoulet, both served with a choice of garlic mash or new potatoes with buttered carrots and garden peas. Pudding: blackberry and apple crumble with crème anglais.

After ten years of correspondance, film director Michael Whyte was granted unrestricted access to the Carmelite Monastry of the Most Holy Trinity in London's Notting Hill.

The monastery, which was founded in 1878, is home to the Discalced Order of Carmelite Nuns. The Nuns take a vow of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. Silence is maintained throughout the day. They rarely leave the monastery except to visit a doctor or dentist.
