Award winning singer-songwriter HAZEL O'CONNOR teams up with legendary performers saxophonist CLARE HIRST and pianist SARAH FISHER in this stunning new line-up and show.Striding into the spotlight with cult movie Breaking Glass, Hazel immediately became an iconic figure. Here celebrating the film's 30th Anniversary live and onstage, her ageless songs from the soundtrack – Eighth Day, Will You and Big Brother - seem even more relevant in our present times
Relive the songs along with recent favourites Driftwood and Rebecca. Be seduced by her moving stories and Bluja’s unique slant on timeless classics – My Funny Valentine, God Bless The Child, Summertime and the haunting version of Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars.
Hazel O'Connor with her sultry vocals is no stranger to the live scene, from her first tour in the 80's with support from none other than Duran Duran to her more recently critically acclaimed partnership with harpist Cormac De Barra.
Hazel O'Connor and Clare Hirst first collaborated on their sell-out “Sing Out Sister” show at Riverside Studios in London. Clare's best known for her work with the Bellestars, Communards and Bowie. When the chance arose to re-ignite the work they had begun in the mid-80's as a trio they looked to complete their team, and who better than pianist/vocalist Sarah Fisher (Eurythmics, Sax In The City).
The superb blend of the three voices adds a sweet touch of class to their vibrant performance. Be one of the first to catch this stunning new line up, who have just returned, from a series of sell-out shows, in France.
