THE BRIDPORT LITERARY FESTIVAL 2020.
THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB
Richard Osman
in conversation with Boris Starling
Richard Osman’s first novel, The Thursday Murder Club, has broken records.
In its first week of publication it sold 45,000 copies, the most for any adult debut crime novel in Britain.
Set in a peaceful retirement village, the titular murder club comprises four unlikely friends who meet up once a week to investigate unsolved murders.
But when a brutal killing takes place on their very doorstep, they find themselves in the middle of their first ‘live’ case.
