ABOUT THE SHOW
Puppet Panto follows a company of puppets and performers as they try to put on a show.

The show is an adaptation of Snow White and has clear references to this classic story, so it might be worth young audiences being introduced or reminded of the tale before they attend. But this show has an S&N twist, so expect the unexpected!

At the beginning of the show, the ‘actors’ selected to play Prince Charming and Snow White leave the collective, and the company is short of people to put on their show.

The theatre cleaner and technician are thrown into taking part. In one of many nods to traditional pantomimes, a Horse takes centre stage, narrating the story.

Taking traditional pantomime stories and giving them a dose of Stuff & Nonsense’s trademark mischievousness and anarchy, this show is a bold and hilarious experience full of mishaps and inventiveness. Suitable for 3 plus, with no scary bits and no non-family friendly innuendo – this is a panto truly for all the family!

As with any Stuff & Nonsense show, this performance features delightful puppets and exciting physical performances by three versatile and experienced performers who specialise in family theatre, specially commissioned music and song, cleverly adaptable staging, comedy relevant to all ages and plenty of audience participation.

PUPPET PANTO is an exciting new festive co-production between The Point and their @HOME Company, Stuff and Nonsense following recent sell-out shows The Gingerbread Man, The Enormous Turnip and The Emperor’s New Clothes.

Puppet Panto is presented by Stuff & Nonsense and created with public funding from Arts Council England, with additional support from The Lyric Theatre Bridport and SPI Lasers.

“A group of 4, ranging from 6 to 55 years old – not sure who enjoyed it the most. Fabulous energy, clean family fun – highly recommend you catch one of their v child-friendly shows.”
