The Comic Strip Presents... screenings +

With creator Peter Richardson and actor Alexei Sayle

A triple bill of three rarely screened ‘Comic Strip Presents’ films: Red Nose of Courage, Four Men In A Car and The Hunt for Tony Blair. Followed by Q&A with Writer-Director Peter Richardson and Alexei Sayle.

The Comic Strip Presents was the nucleus of three comedy duos: The Outer Limits, featuring Peter Richardson and Nigel Planer; Twentieth Century Coyote, featuring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson; and French & Saunders (Dawn & Jennifer) plus Alexei Sayle, who often hosted alongside Keith Allen and Robbie Coltrane. The team would go on to make 42 individual films under the banner of ‘The Comic Strip Presents’ (1982 till 2016) with Founder and Series Producer Peter Richardson.

Starring Adrian Edmonson, Alexei Sayle, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer to name a few.

Four Men In a Car
