Get ready to be swept away on a sparkling, snow-filled adventure as Bridport Pantomime Players, in their 63rd year, present the magical production ‘Frosted’ with script by the wonderful Warren McWilliams. Inspired by the much-loved ‘Frozen’, and rooted in the timeless tale, ‘The Snow Queen’ by Hans Christian Andersen, this dazzling pantomime promises frosty fun for audiences of all ages.

Step into a glittering winter wonderland where magic, mischief, and mayhem collide. At the heart of the story are two very different sisters—Princess Ella (Hatti Amos), kind but troubled by her mysterious powers, choosing isolation to protect those she loves and Princess Hannah (Sarah Williams), full of youthful energy, excitement, and an infectious zest for life.  Full of unforgettable characters, including the fabulous Dame Florrie (and newcomer to the players, Rich Walters), a caring but larger-than-life nursemaid who keeps a watchful eye on the Princesses while delivering plenty of laughs.

The good-hearted and laid-back Kristian (Amy Day) sets off on a daring quest to assist Princess Hannah to help restore the kingdom to normal, after it is plunged into eternal winter – though he’s not one to be easily impressed by royalty.

Problems continue in the kingdom whilst the Princesses are absent. The charming yet dangerously ambitious Prince Anders (Johanna Leins) has his sights set firmly on power, caring little for anything—or anyone—else. By his side is the fiercely loyal and overbearing Sinestra (Jess Goldstone), ensuring his plans stay firmly on track. Meanwhile, the greedy Duke Wesley (Justine Gawen), who values nothing but wealth, brings his own brand of trouble… though his story takes a surprising and hilarious turn as he reappears as the fun-loving Frosty (Cameron Love), determined to enjoy every moment of life!

With a little help from the magical Snow Fairy (Teresa Grinter), who watches over the sisters, and a colourful supporting cast including Token (newcomer Itamar Cohen), the flamboyant owner of the Alpine Lodge Disco Bar and Sauna, our heroes must navigate danger, deception, and plenty of panto chaos.

Keep an eye out for the loyal Herald (Sarah Brent), the ever-curious reporter Scoop (James Oldfield), and the lively Guards and Ladies (Sarah Light, Sue Crocker, Gill Nunn, and Vicky Whatmore), who help bring the kingdom to life—alongside a dazzling ensemble ready to fill the stage with energy and sparkle.

Bursting with catchy songs, exciting choreography, and plenty of audience participation, ‘Frosted’ delivers all the ingredients of a perfect pantomime. With its heartwarming story of love, courage, and the unbreakable bond of family, this production is sure to thaw even the coldest of hearts.

So wrap up warm, gather your friends and family, and step into a world where magic glistens, laughter echoes, and adventure awaits—because this is one frosty spectacular you won’t want to miss!
