Annika Skoogh brings Latin heat, Nordic cool and serious vocal class to this second #souldivas event in the foyer at Electric Palace. Annika performs an eclectic mix of jazz standards, Latin, Nordic jazz, contemporary tunes and some original compositions.

This event is part of Bridport-Birth of the Cool, a month-long festival of jazz, sponsored by Clocktower Records and Jazz Jurassica.

Born in South America, raised in Sweden and now rooted in Exeter, she mixes swing, samba and soul with ease.

She’s played major UK festivals, shared stages with Ellington legends and fronts sell-out bands. Now she’s here with her trio to bring a unique blend of Scandinavian charm and Latin flavour in a set packed with jazz standards, spicy grooves and her own tunes.
