Karşilama

Out of the depths of Bristol comes ‘Karşilama and the Featherweight Space Biscuit’. The group gathers Bristol’s finest local and international musicians to create a sonic amalgamation of Balkan, Klezmer with some Swing.

The lineup of accordion, violin, double bass, guitar and drums topped with strong vocals will blow you away, and their re-imagining of traditional music combined with original beats will get you on the floor dancing!

This dynamic band oozes talent and as yet to hit the big time, we are delighted to get them on board for this years festival during a break from their European tour. Prepare to be drawn to your feet!

Fine Lines
Fine Lines is a six piece roots infused Americana band based in Cheshire, England. Started by singer-songwriter David Boardman in 2016, the band has been building a growing reputation with fans of authentic live music up and down the country. Their debut album ‘Hour Of Need’ received universally glowing reviews on its release in May 2017 and they have been performing to increasingly more appreciative audiences ever since. Indeed, since their inception, the band has shared a stage with folk rock giants Merry Hell, Mark Radcliffe’s Galleon Blast, Razorlight, John Power (Cast) and Miles Hunt (Wonderstuff).
Their new album ‘Gaslight Roses’, which also includes new single ‘On the Town’, was mostly written by the emerging songwriting partnership of Boardman and Radcliffe. Boardman’s yearning melodies perfectly complimenting Radcliffe’s nuanced, observational lyrics.
Gaslight Roses’ is out now on Parade Recordings.
