ZZ *SOLD OUT* The Wurzels & Skimmity Hit

Music legends of the West Country

** Tickets for this gig are now sold out**

The Grey Bear Bar is hosting a pop-up Cocktail Bar. All cocktails only £6 each.

The Wurzels are back in Bridport for what promises to be another sellout show. Celebrate Easter Saturday in true cider-quaffing style!

Signed to label heavyweights Columbia and EMI, The Wurzels continue to play over 100 sell-out shows every year, including the greatest festivals in the land. Their quintessentially West Country cover of Kaiser Chiefs’ Ruby has been a massive show favourite of late, as well as their hilarious hip hop version of the ubiquitous hit Combine Harvester.

This bunch of haystack-headed, no-quite-so-young lads have long paved the way for Scrumpy n’ Western – a genre packed full of double entendre, mainstream parody and a comical folk style – the perfect accompaniment to cider drinking.

SUPPORT : Skimmity Hitchers
Rising from the cider soaked floors of Dorset’s back street boozers, the Skimmity Hitchers now roam the full girth of the West Country and beyond.

Bringing their dry and fruity blend of Scrumpy ‘n’ Western music to venues, festivals and fairs, these scrumpy swillin’ reprobates appeal to young and old, and everyone from folkies to cider punks, beardy badgers to shifty blaggers.

The Wurzels represent a lost England…their live show is raucously entertaining, they show no sign of slowing down.
